Carrying the rock-egg around for the last week has seemed to have an effect. I feel much stronger of will and much more willing to take risks with success. I revealed myself to a goblin patrol I encountered. They shouted “Tel’daac Rhaar” while pointing at me before chasing me through the woods, confirming that was their name for me. I did lose them eventually, and the race was quite a rush. I am not sure if it was the spirit’s influence that spurred me to action or just my increasing confidence after cheating death.
It must be nearly ten years that I have been wandering the wilds. I think it might be time to return and see what has become of my parents and face the consequences of my youth…
